Herbie's Story
Herbie the smallest of the Huskies catches Santa's eye when he keeps getting stuck in snow drifts. Too small to work in the thick snow, Santa sends Herbie to the hard candy lab where he does great, until his thumb turns dark. Santa does not give up on Herbie, quite the opposite he encourages him on and helps Herbie find his talent, in bringing the fun of "growing" candy canes to you! Children will be excited to see how their very own candy cane "grows" in just 5 days!
Our Story
When we were young, our father, Herbert's, Aunt Opel "grew" candy canes . Astonishing, to young eyes, one day to the next. Our parents love and the tender memories of Christmas coupled with their encouragement bring us to write this special book about Herbie the Husky. We hope that the joy and the gift of believing might become a tradition in your family.
